These services range from diagnosis and consultation to treatment of pelvic disorders and infertility. Through interventional radiology, Horizon uses the most advanced technology to perform image-guided procedures that are minimally invasive. These treatments minimize risk, require little to no incisions, and have less pain with decreased recovery time compared to conventional surgery. Most treatments are done with local or moderate “twilight” sedation, not general anesthesia.
When a patient is referred to us, the case is carefully reviewed by our physicians, and sometimes may include the opinion of other specialists. Our treatment may take only an office visit or two or may require a more in-depth treatment plan. Surgical procedures are recommended only after due consideration and input from the patient and the physician.
